The Varec 217 Series Well Manometer is a direct-reading, single- tube type pressure gauge, which provides the long-term reliability and high precision for accurate pressure measurement. The 217 Series Manometer should be installed in waste gas piping wherever local pressure, vacuum, or differential pressure measurement is required. Recommended locations are in (a) gas lines leading from digesters and low pressure gas holders; (b) gas lines leading to boilers, engines, and other plant utilities; and (c) upstream of the pressure relief valve installed immediately upstream of the waste gas burner. These manometers are standard in ranges up to 24" Water Column (W.C.) (using Red Oil fluid) and 11.5 psig (using mercury fill).
